Description
IoT Security Institute launches its “More Women in Cyber Security Initiative (Latin America) by providing 20 SCCISP Scholarships for Women within the LATAM region.
We are very pleased to be in a position to offer such SCCISP scholarships stated Alan Mihalic, President IoT Security Institute.
Our leadership team, which is well represented by women , may I add, saw it as a
an opportunity to do something “real-time” to drive this important and well documented industry objective. We all know there are to few women in the Industry and the growth rate is less than ideal. It is a small step but we are convinced it is in the right direction. added Alan Mihalic.
The scholarship program is lead by Julia Urbina Pineda, Executive Director for Industry 4.0 & 5G Security – LATAM and Ana Paula Rumualdo, Cyberlawyer. Legal AI, Privacy and Data Protection expert. Both women are well respected Industry leaders and strong advocates for more women in Cyber Security within LATAM.
In this video Ana covers the IoT Security Institute, the SCCISP Certification, and the SCCISP Scholarship eligibility requirements.
