In this episode, I am joined by Greg Hallam, CEO of the Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ).  We talk about the importance of data in a smart city environment, the LGAQ's 'Data Ethics Framework' and the imperative for municipal governments to build and maintain citizen trust.

Greg recently celebrated his 25th year with the LGAQ, and he remains a passionate advocate for the ethical treatment of data in the LGAQ’s role as a data partner for Queensland municipal governments. For his significant service to local government administration, natural disaster recovery efforts and to people with disabilities, Greg was appointed a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia in the 2018 Australia Day honours.
